Burnham-on-Sea is graced with one of the largest beaches in the West Country, stretching for seven miles past the town and onto the villages of Berrow and Brean Sands. At low tide, the beach expands and is often used for sand yachting and kite flying. However, due to one of the world's largest tidal ranges, the tide moves quickly, and it's advisable to check tide times before venturing too far.
